Name: James 'Logan' Howlett / Wolverine
Door: Door pass (Dominant)

Canon: X-Men Cinematic Universe (XMCU)
Canon Point: End of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'

Age: 192 years old, looks about mid-40s
Appearance: Brown eyes, brown hair with silver at the temples, 6'2'', muscular shape. Played by Hugh Jackman

History: Wiki link, his timeline is considered the 'revised' one as he went back and changed the past to save the mutants' future.
CR AU (Optional): N/A

Personality:

TOP NEGATIVE TRAIT: To say that Logan has anger issues is the understatement of the century: he has been driven by that rage most of his life. He's lived a violent life ever since his mutation manifested, going from having to hide because of it, to fighting multiple wars over time. This way of life has made him lean heavily on his instincts and his anger, often causing him to be like a feral animal: keeping to himself and pushing others away with sharp insults and dry humour. He often appears to be a gruff, grumpy man and rarely interacts with those he doesn't know in a manner that would make him seem sociable. In some cases, his rage often makes him act brash and impulsive, hitting first before asking questions. One example of this, in his origin movie, is when he goes back to Striker to get the adamantium fused to his bones so he can have a chance to avenge his dead lover, telling the Colonel to just point him in the right direction and to get the hell out of his way, without thinking that he might have been played by Striker. It is also important to mention that this kind of feral rage can turn into a berserker rage when Logan is pushed to the limit of his patience (which is already very small) or hit hard enough.

Negative Trait: For a man whose life has been driven by rage and violence, Logan is surprisingly unrepentant of his past deeds. He seems to understand that this is part of his nature, and that there is nothing he can do to change it. He tells Kayla that what he was damn good at what he used to do (i.e: being a mercenary for Striker), but what he did wasn't really nice. Except for Jean Grey (and probably because he loved her so much), none of the killings he's done in his past (and there are a lot of kills) seems to affect him. Logan is also a man of vice, liking to smoke, drink and fucking, not caring one bit about the consequences of it all, as shown in Days of Future Past when he's caught sleeping with his boss' daughter, or when he was ready to get it on with Jean, despite her being in a relationship, in his tent in X2, until he found out that she was actually Mystic.

Negative Trait: As a mutant, Logan has faced his fair share of discrimination and violence, and since he's often been used as a weapon by both human and mutants alike, he is deeply distrustful of people in general. Whenever he is not with the X-Men, Logan is shown to live a life of solitude, choosing to travel on his own in X-Men 1, as well as isolating himself from the world by living in the forest in X-Men 3. He also has trouble with authority, even at times defying Professor X's orders, like going on his own to get Rogue back in the first movie, and definitely not caring much for Cyclops'. Having been tricked in the past to be used as a weapon by Striker, it's hard to gain Logan's trust, even as a mutant, as proven by when he first met the X-Men, mocking their whole team thing as well as often voicing his doubts on their plans to save Rogue. In the Wolverine movie, he doesn't trust Yukio when she picks him up in the Albertan wilderness, even if she is a fellow mutant, and suspects she is there to ask something of him, as most people do.

Positive Trait: Even if he thinks that he has often become an animal during his long life, Logan has a very clear sense of morality and justice; he always tries to use his powers for the help of the weak and unprotected. For example, he never hesitates in protecting Rogue in the first movie or helping the mutants leave the Academy when Striker hits it with his team. This sense of morality makes him stay at the X-Mansion to help out with the training of the students there. This need to protect has often put him in situations where he made naïve decisions (working for Stryker to help for the greater good is one of those) but can easily recognize when his actions or those of his teammates are going against his sense of justice and he is prone to take actions to stop evil, including when said actions may be to the detriment of his own happiness, as shown when he was willing to kill an out-of-control Jean grey in order to save the rest of the mutants.

Powers and Abilities: (as found on his Wiki page, nerfing is in italics)

Regenerative Healing Factor: Logan can heal and regenerate all physical and mental harm to himself instantly. Any damaged area or lost anatomy will be completely restored with no lingering side effects in seconds, even forcing objects embedded out to heal properly. Logan can rapidly regenerate from virtually anything and everything such as gunshots to the head or body, stabbings, bombs, fire explosions, poisonings, and nuclear bombs among many other things. However, he is still capable of feeling pain and enough harm can render him unconscious. In Duplicity, Logan won't be able to heal from any game event-related effects, like aphrodisiacs, drugs used during citations or any other mind/body-altering substances so that he can be affected by the events in game like any other character.

Adamantium skeleton: Thanks to his healing factor, Logan was able to have adamantium fused to all of his bones, including the three retractable claws he has (see below), making him nearly indestructible. It however made a lot heavier, making swimming almost impossible. He is also susceptible to magnetism.

Retractable Claws: Logan possesses a pair of three, 12-inch retractable claws in each forearm that emerge between each of his fingers' knuckles. While they were originally made of dense bone like the rest of his skeletal structure, able to tear through most matter unharmed, they were surgically bonded with a near-indestructible metal adamantium, which also caused a noticeable side effect of reshaping his rough claws into sleek blades. These metal claws allow him to cut through absolutely any substance with little resistance. In Duplicity, he won't be able to cut through power-dampening devices used by the SIN guards.

His mutation and healing factor also confer him the following powers:

  • Superhuman Strength: He can overpower large full grown humans with ease, is able to hurl them with a single hand, is able to throw them up to 50 feet, he can easily defeat and overpower up to a dozen grown men in hand-to-hand combat, and Logan can knock out any man completely unconscious with one punch to the face. His monstrous physical strength also extends to his legs, as he can jump several feet into the air.

  • Superhuman Speed: Logan is able to run over 60 mph and move with reflexes unobtainable by normal human beings.

  • Superhuman Agility: Logan has remarkable equilibrium and coordination, greater than any human athlete.

  • Superhuman Senses: Logan's senses are heightened to levels similar to various animals. He can track down and identify people through their scent alone, as well as detect their presence within a large area through scent and sound, as his hearing is sharper than normal humans. He can see much further and closer than normal humans with perfect clarity, even in total darkness.

Due to his long past as a soldier and mercenary, Logan is also a master martial arts fighter, has extensive weapon mastery even if he doesn't like using guns, and can be extremely stealthy. Logan can also speak several languages, including Japanese and Spanish
